Features

Exterior

A Bolder Than Ever Exterior

The new DB11 continues the Aston tradition of fearless design. Upfront, Aston updated the line's radiator grille, delivering a grated design that fits seamlessly underneath the clamshell hood and sculpted LED headlamps. New Aston Martin Aeroblade engineering better utilizes airflow, helping the DB11 shed it rear spoiler. Designers also took creative risks, adding a roof strake and updating the body structure with bonded aluminum. The result is a sporting Grand Tourer that's unique, while paying homage to the DB line's iconic character.

Interior

Fine Craftsmanship on Full Display

Inside, the DB11 is the epitome of craftsmanship and design. New state-of-the-art technologies have been introduced, and designers reconfigured the cabin, opening up more space. The DB11 is much closer to a true 2+2, with an increase of 3.5 inches of rear legroom. Upfront, the cascading center console looks familiar, yet new infotainment display has revitalized the design. A range of fine materials are available to upholster the cabin, with a new color palette enabling owners to fine tune the design. All digital gauges, pushbutton start, and an electronic parking brake add a final touch of convenience and sophistication to the DB11's amenity-laden cabin.

Technology

Connected Amenities At Your Fingertips

Like previous versions, the DB11 is fitted to keep you connected to the world. A redesigned infotainment display delivers an immersive driving experience, displaying turn-by-turn directions via an updated satellite navigation system or premium entertainment options. The 8-inch screen TFT screen is larger and more form-fitting than earlier versions. All gauges are digital, featured on a 12-inch LCD instrumentation display. Finally, Aston Martin Premium Audio and Bang & Olfusen BeoSound systems are available in 2019. Additional tech features include: Heated front seats, automatic climate control, USB connectivity, and front and rear parking sensors.

Performance

Unparalleled V12 Performance

The star of the show in 2019: A newly introduced 600-horsepower 5.2L V12 that features a twin turbocharger, a first for a production Aston Martin. Acceleration is other-worldly. The DB11 can run 0 to 60 mph in under 4 seconds ? an improvement over the DB9 ? and delivers up to 516 pound-feet of torque. Top speeds near 200 mph. Simply put, this is the most powerful DB model ever. Plus, Aston engineers have improved efficiency with state-of-the-art technology. Aston introduced a deactivation system in 2019, which shuts down half of the block when cruising. An efficient ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and automatic start/stop system help to boost efficiency. The DB11 has also been fitted with Bilstein DampTronic Skyhood shocks, which deliver an ultra-smooth driving experience.

Safety

Expertly Designed for Maximum Safety

The DB11 may be designed for high-performance driving, but the Grand Tourer's architecture and advanced safety features ensure you're protected. In 2019, Aston Martin introduced a new bonded aluminum body architecture, which maximizes rigidity. The clamshell hood, for example, is pressed from a single sheet of high-strength aluminum. Active safety systems including Stability and Traction Controls keep the DB11 tight around corners, and the 2+2's emergency braking assistance system maximizes stopping power. Additional safety features include: Anti-lock, remote anti-theft alarms, tire pressure monitoring, night sensing headlamps, active heat restraints and a multistage airbag system.
