Performance

Owners of the new Aston Martin Vantage can expect the car to deliver superbly in the performance arena as this is the brand's forte. The Vantage GTS -- which is available only in the United States -- features a 4.7-liter V8 engine that churns out 361 lb-ft of torque and 430 horsepower. This engine is paired with either a seven-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. According to the manufacturers, drivers can expect a top speed of 190 MPH for the new Aston Martin Vantage and for it to take 4.6 seconds to reach 60 MPH.

Drivers can also choose the V12 engine which is 5.9 liters and delivers 565 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. With a top speed of 205 MPH, the car can reach 60 MPH in just 3.7 seconds. While both transmissions will be available for the V12 as are for the V8, only 100 of the V12s will be manufactured with the seven-speed manual.
