The 2018 Phantom is akin to a luxury apartment on wheels. The dashboard is fairly similar to a shelf, providing ample space and considerable ease of use. Performance

The new Rolls-Royce Phantom is one of the most powerful vehicles to grace the road. It has a 12-cylinder twin-turbo engine with:

• 6.75 liters

This engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The newly added power is a major upgrade from the '17 version of the Phantom that had 453 horses and 531 pound feet of torque. The '18 Phantom hits 60 mph from a standstill in a mere five seconds. This is an incredible feat for a vehicle that weighs as much as the Phantom. The Phantoms' engineers should be commended for their flawless implementation of electronically controlled shocks that automatically adjust to the upcoming road conditions as pictured by the vehicle's windshield camera.

Don't worry about noise pollution when operating this beast. The new Phantom is equipped with upwards of 300 pounds worth of insulation that make it 10 percent quieter than its previous incarnation when traversing highways. The Phantom's engineers even implemented special layers of foam within the tires to decrease noise. In fact, Rolls-Royce representatives are adamant the 2018 Phantom is the quietest vehicle in the world.
